If you have been curious about planning a Montage Palmetto Bluff wedding, here is what you can expect!

477 Mount Pelia Rd, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910
When you first step onto the property of Montage Palmetto Bluff, it feels as though you have just walked into another time. Golf courses are spread between ancient oak trees while 20th-century mansions dot the view. The designers behind this project were intentional about creating a space that took you through the heritage of the Lowcountry while still keeping all the modern amenities at your fingertips. While you can always use this spot just for your wedding, why not use this as an excuse to get away for a bit? With their luxury resort, you can feel all the pre-wedding jitters fade away as the sun sets below the tranquil waters. This will be a trip you will never forget for more reasons than one!

When you book your wedding at Montage, your day can start out inside their luxurious accommodations. You will have your choice between rooms, suites, signature residences, and cottages. With their multi-room options, you can use this as an excuse to stay with your wedding party throughout the week. Then, once it’s time to get ready, you can sit back, break out the champagne, and put your look together!
For your ceremony, you will pick between indoor and outdoor options. If you want a truly serene space, the Somerset Chapel is a must. This is an open-air room with white cathedral ceilings, shiplap walls, and French doorways. You will exchange your vows in front of the room beneath the antique chandelier. The double doors at the back of the room will make for a perfectly dramatic entrance! This room can hold up to 185 guests.
If you want something a bit more traditional, you can try the May River Chapel. This quaint space takes influence from the Gothic era, offering cathedral ceilings, intersecting windows, and wooden pews. Fans have been strategically hung throughout to ward off the Carolina heat.

For outdoor spaces, the Village Green is one of your best options. Located just outside the May River Chapel, this area puts both the May River and the Wilson Mansion directly in sight. Lovely on its own, this space becomes transcendent when you bring in lush flowers! This area is able to host up to 500 guests.
If you would prefer something a little more secluded, Sunrise Lawn is your spot. With over 10,000 square feet, you will have separate portions to host each part of your day. The views out here are positively serene! You will be able to look out across the water to Bird Island as you exchange your vows.
Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, your guests can head to the May River Lawn. As they sip on expertly crafted drinks, they can keep cool beneath the shade of the historic oak trees lining the paths.

Finally, it will be time for your Montage Palmetto Bluff wedding reception. For large, indoor ceremonies, you can choose the Wilson Ballroom. Elegant and spacious, this room is able to host up to 500 guests. With cream-colored walls accented by white chairrail, the space is ready to accommodate weddings of all sizes!
Smaller indoor ceremonies can take place inside the Oak Ballroom. This room has white cathedral ceilings with statement chandeliers placed throughout. You will be able to accommodate up to 175 guests here.
Outside, you will be able to use the Village Green for your party. The area has an open space accented by bistro lights. With this option, you can dance for hours beneath the stars!

Montage Palmetto Bluff is truly picture perfect, with countless spots you can use for your wedding. When it’s time to take pictures with your bridal party, you can head out to the Village Green. This area lets you get all the natural Carolina backdrops while keeping you close to your rooms. For your couple’s portraits, the water is ideal. The venue has piers that will take you out over the waves as golden hour hits. You will also be able to use the trails and the golf course to get the best natural backdrops while spending a few private moments with your brand-new spouse.

Montage Palmetto Bluff is here to make the wedding planning process as simple as possible! Things will start out with their events team, who will be in constant contact until your wedding day arrives. They will work with you to iron out every last detail so you are left with your perfect day. You will also be in contact with their culinary team.
