Danielle and Stephen’s Asheville Mountain Elopement

Hands down, this Asheville mountain elopement is one of the most romantic elopements I have ever seen. I will never not be obsessed with Danielle and Stephen’s beautiful ceremony in the foggy North Carolina mountains! The two lovebirds were so chill and amazing to work with, they trusted me in capturing all of their beautiful moments on this day. It was clear to see they are SO in love and it wasn’t hard to photograph them at all!

We had to hike all the way up to the top of the mountain bald for the ceremony. About half way up the couple had a private first look, while their families waited at the top. It was very important that they still had that moment alone and it was so sweet and intimate. Afterwards, we hiked up to the ceremony where there was dense fog and rain from the tropical depression Nicole coming through. It was freezing and windy but they had a beautiful ceremony and had portraits done right after as the family went back to the warmth of their cars. 

Having the people you love most there on your special day, whether its an elopement or a wedding, is the best thing EVER. Especially when they endure crazy weather or freezing cold to watch you get married, that’s the best!
